Leading IT Solutions and Services provider, malomatia, participated in QITCOM 2012 held at Qatar National Convention Centre from March 5 – 7, 2012.
The second of the series organized by ictQATAR, the exhibition featured more than 170 exhibitors, with over 5,000 recurring visitors and 6,950 unique visitors which marks a 75% increase, in addition to over 2,593 unique delegates.
Inaugurated by HE Sheikh Jassim bin AbdulAziz bin Jassim bin Hamad AlThani, the Minister of Business and Trade, the exhibition was attended by some of the topnotch Qatari and international IT players showcasing their services and products.
While during the opening the Minister was briefed by malomatia’s CEO, Yousef Al Naama, on the company’s various service offerings, later HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser also graced the occasion by visiting some of the popular booths including that of malomatia.
Some of the prominent speakers this year included Dr. Hessa Al Jaber, Secretary General ictQATAR, Dr. Hamadoun Touré, Secretary-General, The International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Switzerland, and Dr. Michio Kaku, Theoretical Physicist, Best-selling Author, and Popularizer of Science.
Showcasing its unique expertise in the three core areas of its business (government, education and healthcare IT) malomatia’s strong technical team comprising Peter Jacobs, e-Education Program Manager, Education Services Business Unit, Omar Obaid, Sr. Project Manager, e-Gov Business Unit, Bassam Fadol, Program Manager, e-Gov Business Unit, and Ahmed Samir, Senior Business Analyst, e-Gov Business Unit spoke on various topics.
