malomatia brings the curtain down on its Ramadan Football Tournament
Under the theme “Our Health, Our Wealth”

malomatia company, the leading IT solutions and digital enabler, concluded last Saturday its Ramadan football tournament for its employees that was held in Al-Qatifah Park, Onaizah, Doha, under the theme “Our health is our wealth“.

For the past 18 days of the holy month of Ramadan, the tournament witnessed a wonderful competition between the eight participating teams, at the end of which the Managed Services team (B) was crowned with the company’s championship, while the Call Center team (A) won the runner-up of the tournament.

The Managed Services team (B), the malomatia’s champion, achieved valuable victories in all the matches it played and concluded it last night with a deserved victory by three goals against one for the Call Center Services Team (A).

The closing ceremony was attended by the CEO of the company, Mr. Yousef Al-Naama, along with many directors of departments, employees, and their families.

The tournament was part of malomatia’s Ramadan Campaign, which it launched at the start of the holy month under the slogan “Ramadan is Our Chance for a Better Transformation,” with the goal of encouraging individuals, communities, and business owners to change and transform for the better, as Ramadan is the ideal time to start any positive transformation.

And, at a time when health is the most important blessing to keep, the tournament aimed to encourage malomatia employees to maintain their health and reshape their bodies for the better.

Mr. Yousef Al-Naama stated, ” We are delighted to witness this amazing competition among our employees outside of work restrictions. Sport allows us to get away from job pressures and improves our mental and physical health, which has a beneficial impact on business and productivity.”

He added, “Such a tournament allows employees to get to know each other better and establish good relationships, which improves an appealing and healthy work environment. Congratulations to the winning team and best luck to all teams in the upcoming activities”.

He also extended his abundant thanks to the Public Parks Department of Doha Municipality, for their vital contribution to the success of this tournament, as well as their ongoing collaboration in other sports activities conducted by the company.

The tournament consisted of eight teams that included; Call Center teams A & B, the Managed Services teams A & B, Cybersecurity, Finance & Marketing, HR, and the Delivery Enablement & Corporate IT team.

With a record of 14 goals, the player Mohamed Sami from the Managed Services team (B) won the top scorer award, while the goalkeeper Lotfi Hamrouni from the Call Center (A) won the best goalkeeper award, and the best player prize went to Obada Elhassan from the Cybersecurity team.
