ictQATAR, malomatia Celebrate Qatar’s National Sports Day
The Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) and malomatia – a leading provider of professional technology services and solutions – celebrated today Qatar’s National Sports Day (NSD) with a variety of unique open sports activities that left all participants happy.
Since early-morning hours and with big enthusiasm, ictQATAR and malomatia’s male and female employees together with their whole family members started charging into Park 65 at Dafna Area to take part in all sports and entertainment activities, which all participants said were unique and amazing.
Activities began in the early morning, featuring walking and running in the park, followed by football matches between ictQATAR and Malomatia teams, plus many other entertainment activities for women and children, which collectively made today a great day that met the aspired goals and put the people on a great, cheerful mood outside work.
“ictQATAR’s and malomatia’s participation in that fitness day reflects the constitutional partnership with all state agencies in order to improve sports for better bodies and more active minds through building the human being who is capable of participating in the course of development and progress on the way of fulfilling the Qatar National Vision 2030, which considers the human element its most important pillar to build a healthier, civilized society,” said Kholoud Al Ali, Communications Office Executive Director, ictQATAR.
She added: “ictQATAR staff’s participation in the NSD enhances their sports culture and encourages them to practice physical activities regularly and make them an everyday tradition, which reflects on their performance at work. Today also helped the staff to get together in one place, which cements their relationship outside work.”
Yousef Al Naama, malomatia CEO, said: “Malomatia’s participation in Qatar’s NSD aligns with the national initiative adopted by HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent, and reflects Malomatia’s deep belief in the importance of fitness and sports for healthier bodies and minds and stronger inter-employee relationships.”
Participation in NSD activities serves the sports dimension of Qatar’s National Vision 2030 in which Qatar seeks to become the first, most favorite destination for hosting and organizing big world sports events, Al-Naama added.
Today’s activities were professionally organized and coordinated, making the entire day a great memory for all participants; men, women and children who all found their favorite games and participated actively.
Healthy meals were offered throughout the day and at the end of the event awesome gifts were presented to participants.
