e-Education Program Manager, Education Services Business Unit
Peter Jacobs is malomatia’s e-Education Program Manager. In his present role, he is responsible for the development and delivery of educational and training solutions for schools, higher education, government, and the private sector.
He has over 20 years experience marrying his greatest passions – education, technology and business. From the development of several Student Management Systems, leadership of Higher Education and corporate institutions in the use of e-learning and Learning Management Systems, Peter has established a track record of ‘owning’ e-learning initiatives and achieving strategic results. His key areas of expertise include learning systems deployment, content development and delivery, systems integration and change management.
Holding an MBA from the University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Education from Flinders University, Australia, Peter has presented at several e-learning conferences in Australia and the UK. He was an undergraduate and postgraduate lecturer in leadership and strategic management to an MBA level. His research interests centered mostly around instructional learning strategies and social learning.
Prior to joining malomatia, Peter worked as a strategic and e-learning consultant for many diverse organizations including Merck Sharpe & Dohme, Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals, Le Cordon Bleu International Culinary Arts Institute, University of South Australia, University of Adelaide, Water Industry Association of SA, United Care Wesley and the Independent Schools Board.
Peter’s leadership in the e-learning space has included the creation of high-end strategies adopted across organizations and institutions to increase the uptake and success of e-learning. He is committed in leading and supporting organizations understand the way they can use e-education to improve efficiencies to deliver and enhance learning experiences for their students and employees.
